At Far West PETS, you will start at the PETS registration desk to pick up your registration packet including your name badge, meal tickets, and other seminar materials. A photo booth is set up on the main floor where official portraits are taken of Presidents-Elect, Assistant Governors, DG, DGE, and DGN for use in the District Directory. The cost of the district photos is paid by PETS. You may purchase copies from the photographer. A project Expo is available to introduce you to some projects that may be of interest to you and your club. In a nearby area you will also find licensed vendors selling Rotary related products. At 11:30 on Friday morning, a sandwich buffet is offered. The opening session of PETS starts at 1 p.m., and all participants are asked to be seated by 12:45 p.m. Following the opening session, there are two training sessions where you will travel with an assigned group representing a cross section from multiple districts. After that, there is a session with your own District Governor Elect and your Assistant Governors. Friday arrivals will receive their room keys at this session. |
